Known as the quiet side of the Tetons, Driggs Idaho offers visitors amenities like lodging, dining, shopping, and entertainment. With the small town of Victor located just 8 miles south and Tetonia located a few miles north, the entire Teton Valley is home to roughly 10,000 residents. But this small city is anything but quiet.
Locals and visitors head to the Big Holes and the western base of the Tetons in the summer months, whether to hike, mountain bike, horseback ride, or dirt bike. The Teton River also runs right through the middle of the valley, offering superb fishing opportunities for avid anglers.
In the winter, you'll find many places to explore via snowmobile and cross country ski. But most popular is Grand Targhee Ski and Summer Resort, offering fantastic intermediate terrain and epic amounts of powder.
Culture and entertainment come alive in the summer with annual music festivals like the Targhee Fest, Bluegrass Festival, and Music on Main. You can also enjoy the rodeo, 4th of July festivities like the Hot Air Balloon Rally, and running and biking races. And don't miss Teton Valley's very own drive in movie theater ... The Spud Drive-In.
